Is there a SteadyMouse for Mac?
SteadyMouse is a well-known Windows app that filters hand tremor out of the mouse pointer. People who move to a Mac, or help someone who uses one, look for the same thing.
The short answer: no. SteadyMouse is made for Windows only, as its maker lists it. On a Mac, two apps do the same job: StillMouse and TrueCursor. Both take the shake out of the pointer and ignore clicks you didn't mean. A filter box between mouse and computer, a trackball and the Mac's own accessibility settings are the other options.
Can I run SteadyMouse on a Mac?
Not in a useful way. In Windows running inside a virtual machine on the Mac, it could only steady the pointer inside that Windows window. The pointer in Mac apps, Finder and Safari included, would still shake.
Which Mac apps filter hand tremor?

| Computers | One Mac at a time | Up to 10 |
| Setting it up | A one-minute test suggests a preset; AI can explain it if you ask | Adjusts itself as you use it |

For comparison, SteadyMouse on Windows costs $43 or $127 once, has no trial and a 70-day refund.
Is there a hardware tremor filter that works with a Mac?
AMAneo MX is a box that sits between the mouse and the computer and filters the shake; its UK dealer lists it at £249 plus VAT and doesn't state whether it supports the Mac. A trackball, about $50 to $100, doesn't filter anything but lets the hand rest while a finger moves the ball: see which mouse works best with a tremor.
And without buying anything?
The Mac's own settings can slow the pointer down, make it bigger, change the double-click speed and let you click by keyboard or voice. They don't remove the shake: Mac accessibility settings for tremor lists them.
Which one should I choose?
Try before you pay: both Mac apps have a free trial and no card is needed for StillMouse's. Use the Mac the way you normally do for a few days, with the pointer and clicks you actually struggle with. If you also use a Windows PC, SteadyMouse is the one for that computer.
